Supply of drinking water

Dear hiker on Soonwaldsteig,

at a distance of more than 40 km at the forests of "Lützelsoon" and "Großer Soon" the Soonwaldsteig will not cross any village and only few streets.

Unfortunately there are no springs with garantueed quality of drinking water. That applies to the streams such as "Hahnenbach", "Simmerbach/Kellenbach" and "Guldenbach" too (even with use of a water filter). 

Therefore, please do not forget to bring enough water to your hike!
